Review Of The Diet Solution

In this review of The Diet Solution I’m looking to give you some of my honest opinion of the very popular program that can be found on the internet. It’s not too often I’ll come across a dieting program that actually works and isn’t just some trendy diet that a celebrity endorses. It feels like just about every other week there’s a new fad diet that sweeps the nation and you’ll see it all over TV and other media. But those kind of diets are just fads and may feel like some thing new but in all honesty most people are immediately going to go back to their old ways once they’re done with the diet.

The main advantage I found while doing this review for The Diet Solution was the fact that it used more uncommon knowledge to make up the bulk of their nutritional advice. Most people blankly follow the Food Pyramid that the government put out decades ago but the real truth is we shouldn’t be making up the majority of our diet with grains and flour products. I found this out in The Diet Solution that when you eat those foods most people aren’t able to properly digest them and then they’ll end up with a messed up Gastrointestinal Tract. In the book by Isabel De Los Rios she recommends making your carbohydrate intake with local fruits and vegetables of the season.

In The Diet Solution they also recommend to not starve your body through calorie restriction and instead to focus on eating healthy foods for natural fat loss. This is something that really struck a chord with me because I’m a big believer in that if you’re eating garbage then you’re going to look and feel like garbage. Just by eating less of it may help you lose weight but you’ll still end up looking flabby and lack energy. This is why I believe so many diets fail and this is where Isabel De Los Rios fortunately gets it right. Eliminating the bad foods from your diet will naturally help you lose more fat while also improving the health and energy in your body.

Overall I’m fairly impressed with the information and practices presented in the The Diet Solution. With so many trendy and fad diets out there I always first look at any new nutrition program with a ton of skepticism. There are just way too many people out there just trying to make a quick buck and they’ll literally sell people some garbage program that may help them temporarily lose weight but in the end they’ll end up right back where they started. Hopefully you’ve enjoyed The Diet Solution review and it’ll help with your decision on what path to take for you health and nutrition.

Feeling confused, even cynical, about the number of skin care products on the market today that promise miraculous beauty transformations? Do hefty price tags put you off from experimenting with new skin care systems?

You are not alone. According to Judith Charles, a licensed aesthetician for 28 years, women need to arm themselves with data on skin care basics before heading for the cosmetic counters. They can also shorten their shopping lists because some of the best remedies are no further than their kitchen cabinets.

“The most important principle that all women should know,” says Judith, “is that skin actually generates from within. It is your body’s largest organ.” Although it might not be evident, skin is Read the rest of this entry »

Here are some things you can do to give your natural beauty care routine a great foundation;

It also increases circulation, which has great side benefits on your skin’s health and appearance.

You don’t need expensive equipment, or a gym membership… walking, swimming, ‘functional fitness’, simple exercises at home with fitness balls, dumbells etc, pilates, and rebounders are all fantastic methods…so, don’t be put off, just do something!

Eating and Drinking;
Basically, the concept is ‘Garbage in Read the rest of this entry »

Diet Easy With the Konjac Noodle

Need to lose weight but don’t want to follow a diet? Let’s be honest no one really wants to go on a diet because you can’t eat the foods you love. Most diets leave you irritable, cranky, and definitely not someone fun to be around. That is why they are less than desirable and for many avoidable even though there is an obesity epidemic in the United States. So, is there any easy way to enjoy the foods you love like pasta and lose weight in the process? There is a great way to do this and it all starts with a noodle discovered in Japan.

Konjac Noodles were first discovered in the far east and are a derivative of the Konjac root. It is considered a yam and is unique to Asia. The root contains a dietary fiber called Glucomannan. What does this mean to dieters and why is it important? Fiber is the missing element in most diets as no one can live off of carbohydrates and protein alone. It is the little something extra which leaves you feeling fuller longer and makes it easy to stick with any diet. These noodles are perfect as they provide:

Low Carbohydrates Lowering of Blood Pressure Regulation of blood sugar

You can diet easy with Konjac noodles because they have almost no carbs! After all, to lose weight you need to burn more calories than you consume. Isn’t it a blessing to eat a noodle which has no carbs but a high fiber content? It is the lack of fiber and vegetables in the diet which has been linked to diseases such as cancer. The Konjac root from which the noodles are derived is considered a vegetable and an excellent source of fiber. So, how can you go wrong with it?

You may be wondering about the taste. Often times things which are good for us don’t always taste the best. For example, remember the cod liver oil your grandmother swore by when you were a kid? This is not necessarily the case with these noodles as they absorb the flavor of anything you mix with them. Do you feel like throwing in some onions and other spices? Go right ahead as they will only enhance the flavor and make them pleasing to the palate. You can’t go wrong with something which tastes great and is healthy for you like the Konjac Noodle.

5 Things To Look For In A Fat Loss Diet – If A Diet Has These 5 Things, Then Results Are Guaranteed

The best approach to take with getting in shape is to focus more on getting rid of fat than trying to lose pounds. The reason why is because your results will come quicker, your body will look 10 times better, it’s more easier to do, and decreasing body fat will also improve your overall health. With that said, choosing the right fat loss diet that has been proven effective for many people (from all walks of life) can be pretty difficult. So, I have for you today my top 5 things to look for in a fat loss diet to guarantee you quickly obtain the body you deserve…

1. Easy implementation to your daily life…

What I mean by this is that the fat burning diet you choose must not be so difficult that it’s going to be difficult to implement into your daily life. Kids, family, errands, work, business, etc. must all be taken into consideration when choosing a diet.

Now one of the reasons this is so important with a fat loss program is because a diet such as this will more than likely be based around eating more often during the day. This may not be such a big problem… and even for those who have busy lifestyle’s.

However, some fat burning diets are so complicated and restrictive that not only will you see minimal results, and not only will you suffer from side-effects, you’re going to find it pretty difficult trying to stay dedicated to the program.

So, what I recommend you look for is a simple program that you know you’ll be able to implement with ease into your daily life.

2. It’s based around eating foods that burn fat…

Protein burns fat. Healthy fat (monounsaturated, polyunsaturated, omega fatty acids) burns fat. Healthy carbs (fiber) burns fat. Do you see where I’m going with this? Yup, fad diets (programs that want you to restrict specific nutrients) want you to restrict one or more of those nutrients… and you’ll therefore find it pretty hard to get results. In fact, programs like that will actually reduce your metabolic rate… which in turn forces your body to RETAIN fat! How ironic!

Bottom line, it’s HIGHLY important that the diet you choose is based on eating all types of nutrients… and especially fat burning nutrients.

3. It creates a custom menu for you based on foods YOU want…

The program I chose was not only very effective for me to lose pounds of fat (I dropped 52 lbs. by the way), it was also very easy to do as well. One of the reasons why was because the program generated a customized menu plan for me consisting of foods I selected.

Why is this important?

Well, it’s important because dieting can become difficult after some time. And this usually happens when you are eating foods you do not like so much. Therefore, I strongly suggest you ensure the program is also based around choosing foods YOU want to eat. Nutrition is the heart of being able to burn fat, and if you are eating foods you love, not only will you get the body of your dreams, you get to do so with a smile on your face instead of feeling miserable everyday!

4. It factors in the basic components of healthy living…

Not drinking enough water, not getting enough sleep, not exercising properly, etc. will all lead to minimal to no results whatsoever. Therefore, it’s important that whatever diet you choose also factors in these important principles for obtaining a better healthy body. No diet ALONE will bring about a TOTAL healthy and fit body without the basic components of healthy living practiced each and every day.

Please understand this point here because it’s something I had to learn the hard way… and my punishment was it took me YEARS to finally reach the point where I was getting consistent results! Once I found the perfect diet AND I followed the basics of healthy living, my results I mentioned above (52 pounds) came in 8 weeks time!

5. It offers flexibility in regards to nutrition…

Not eating the same things everyday and also having a cheat meal/day once in a while has so many benefits it’s ridiculous! For one, you won’t be bored. Second, you’ll skyrocket your metabolism because you are preventing your body from getting accustomed to eating patterns. Third, you’ll decrease craving urges. Fourth, you’ll increase your bodies fat burning hormones. And so much more.

Skin Care

Your skin is your armor, your shield from the elements. Yet when was the last time you really thought about what you need to do to take care of it? Throughout your life, genetic and environmental factors will cause a lot of wear and tear to your skin. But you are never too young or too old to start taking care of your skin. In fact, skin care and protection should be an essential part of your health, fitness, and beauty regime. If you take care of your skin, your skin will take care of you! If your stuck in a skin care rut, or if you are just looking to learn a bit more about the basics of skin care, read on to learn more about this important step in your daily activities.

The Essentials of Skin Care

The first step to taking care of your skin is preventing damage. Sun, wind, pollutants, and simply aging can degrade the condition of your skin. Common complaints include dry and itchy skin, wrinkles, sagging, color changes, and age spots. There are steps that you can take to keep you skin looking and feeling its best.

Exercise, rest, and good nutrition lay the foundation for beautiful, healthy skin, inside and out. A proper diet is not only good for your overall health, it also helps to ensure that your skin will receive all of the vitamins, minerals, and nutrients that it needs to maintain and repair cells. Drinking purified water is another good way to keep your skin healthy. Water helps to hydrate the skin and move waste and nutrients through the system. It is very effective mixing a teaspoon or capful of Organic Apple Cider Vinegar in with your water. Do not drink Tap Water.

The most important way to care for your skin is to protect it from the damaging rays of the sun. Ultraviolet radiation damages the skin and can lead to wrinkles, premature aging, age spots, and cancer. Take extra precautions to make sure your skin is not exposed to the sun’s rays. Use a natural sunscreen, or a moisturizer that contains sunscreen (at least SPF 15) everyday. Your skin does need some sunlight – 10-15 minutes of direct exposure daily.

Dry skin is very common, especially with age. Older skin has fewer sweat and oil glands than younger skin. Dry skin may be caused by frequent baths, certain cosmetics or medications. But whatever the cause, there are ways to alleviate the itchiness associated with it. Avoid using harsh soaps when bathing, and if possible, cut back on the number of baths or showers each week. A sponge bath with warm water may help to clean and revive skin without stripping the skin of its valuable moisturizers. When you do use soap, try using a natural very mild soap that does not contain any dyes, parabens or perfumes. Follow up the bath with a moisturizing lotion like Parfait Visage, concentrating on problem dry areas. A good all natural moisturizer is one of the foundations for a healthy skin care regimen. Continue moisturizing throughout the day to keep skin healthy. Your hands and face are particularly susceptible to daily damage, and may need to be moisturized several times.

A Skin Care Routine

A skin care routine does not have to be elaborate in order to be effective. But you should develop some kind of skin care routine based on your skin type, daily activities, and nutritional needs so that you can be sure you are taking the very best care of your skin. Following a daily skin care regime will also allow you to more closely evaluate your skin for abnormalities. Here’s a simple routine that you can adapt to fit your needs:

1. Cleanse: Wash your skin thoroughly on a daily basis to remove the dirt, debris, pollutants, and perspiration that accumulates on a daily basis. If you have dry or sensitive skin, use only warm water to wash your skin and use a mild natural cleanser every few days like the product Oxy-Skin. If you have normal or oily skin, be sure to wash with a gentle cleanser on a daily basis. Be sure to brush your teeth before washing your face, as toothpaste residue can irritate sensitive facial skin.
2. Moisturize: Unless your skin is very oily, you will want to use a moisturizer everyday to keep your skin hydrated and healthy. Your skin needs moisturizer all year long as both the indoor winter heat, and summer sun can be equally damaging to your skin. The most advanced product is “Parfait Visage” which is used for the face.
3. Protect: Use a natural sunscreen when possible, regardless of whether or not you plan on spending much time in the sun. The sun’s rays are very damaging and if you get in the habit of applying sunscreen everyday, you will never be left without protection. The suns most beneficial rays occur at sunrise and sunset.

Skin Care Products

There are several types of skin care products that may make a useful additional to your daily skin care. These include cleansers, sunscreens, moisturizers, exfoliants, facial cleansers, toners, retonoids, herbal and nutrient supplements, and cosmetics.
